If you’ve ever tried to build your own website, you probably had several “pull your hair out” moments. You’re not alone. Many people come to us after attempting to build their own websites via a “free” website builder. There are many different companies like Wix.com and the free builders that come with domain name sellers, like GoDaddy.com or 1and1.com. Bottom line? To put it bluntly, website builders suck. They claim to offer an easy way to build a beautiful, functional website, but more often than not, it’s all smoke and mirrors. Their design showcases often look great – but trying to achieve a great design yourself is often cumbersome, and not quite as easy as advertised. There are many other reasons we dislike website builders, from poor search engine rankings and extremely limited features to the inability to expand with your growing business.
